How this public lighting calculator site treats visitor information.
The calculators run in the browser and do not require a login. The site does not provide user accounts, saved projects or file uploads. Calculator inputs are used for the current page session so the result can update on screen.
When a PDF download form is submitted, the form sends the name, email address and message entered in the form. It also includes the PDF type, page, submission time and browser user agent as hidden metadata. The form receiver may record the request IP address with the submission so low-quality or automated messages can be reviewed.
